Zavala Elementary has served the east Austin community since 1936 at our historic campus at the corner of Robert T. Martinez and East 3rd Streets. We are a small but mighty AISD elementary school, with approximately 260 students (86.9% of whom are from economically disadvantaged families).

But AISD budget cuts are taking a toll. For example, the number of field trips has been cut in half. 

We're working to raise $7500 this year to fund school field trips, buy new chairs for the library, help pay for a "Reading Rally," purchase small birthday gifts for our amazing teachers, and more. Thank you for your support - go Mustangs!
