Description and purpose of grant:  Mrs. Axtman is seeking educational materials for the Valley Ranch Elementary STEAM classroom.  Robot coding mats will allow students to program robots in a variety of ways while also building literacy and numeracy skills.  Chomp saws are a child-safe cardboard cutter that will be used during hands-on engineering projects.

 

 

Implementation process: These experiences and materials benefit over 500 learners.  The robotics mats and cardboard cutters will be used for dozens of different lessons and will last our campus for many years.
