Description and purpose of grant This project aims to boost academic achievement and support language development of our bilingual students, via the implementation of interactive and differentiated learning stations. Student success is not a one-size-fits-all, and by providing my students with hands-on, linguistically responsive and flexible learning tools, I can encourage collaboration among students in all content areas. This in turn will cultivate a classroom environment where our bilingual students are valued - as we build community through authentic and language-rich experiences. This project emobodies the priorities we uphold as a district: Great teaching, Redefining success, Collecive engagement and Authentic Relationships. 

Implementation process: Ths project will be implemented over the course of the school year, with the goal of improving language proficiency, acadmeic achivement and student egagement through these small group experiences. Through planning and preparation, various learning stations and educational games have been selected. These include authentic spanish materials, math games and board games. Once purchased, there would be a stations rotation schedule which will include our 65 Dual Language Instruction students in the grade level. These stations would be assigned based on their level of need, but would be as flexible as needed, based on feedback, observation and data collected. These stations would continue to support our DLI students throughout the years, as they would be part of our grade level resources.
